Boat Engine Oil and Fuel Sample Condition Analysis Survey

Developed from the Aircraft and Critical Machinery Industries routine engine oil analysis can reveal signs of wear and, early warning of component failure and provide a detailed maintenance guide and condition history.

We can attend your boat and take oil samples or alternatively provide a DIY oil sample kit. The oil samples are analysed in a specialist laboratory and give detailed results on the condition of the oil covering component wear indications, contamination and oil grade/quality. The laboratory results are interpreted to give a realistic diagnosis of the machinery.

Oil sample analysis is recommended as part of a pre-purchase survey, prior to the end of warranty cover and at routine intervals or prior to a major service/oil change.

We can also test the condition of all types of oils and fluids including fuel samples.
