As a surveyor member, and formerly a broker member of the YBDSA, the professional Yacht Brokers, Designers and Surveyors Association, and member of the IIMS, the International Institute of Marine Surveyors, and as a qualified Boat Safety Scheme Examiner, Simon May is fully accredited and experienced to offer independent advice and guidance on all aspects of the selection and purchase of a new or pre-owned boat, from a pre-purchase condition assessment and valuation, to the correct title and vat documentation and liaising with brokers and agents and to successfully resolving any issues arising from the survey.
