Sports Boat Survey – customer comment

“I have been thoroughly impressed by the service provided by Simon May at BCYS. Given the age of the boat I intended to buy, I chose a full Boat Buyers Survey. From the outset, Simon was friendly and yet professional, offering advice both over the phone and via email. The arrangements with the boatyard for the lift were made by BCYS which simplified the process. On the day, he explained all his findings as the survey progressed, and when the point came that sufficient significant defects had been identified with the boat, he advised that I ‘walk away’ and provided a very fair refund for the survey work/report that had not been necessary. I view the survey as money well spent as ultimately it saved me many thousands of pounds in unexpected repair costs. Since the survey, Simon has continued to offer advice on boat details/choices. I will use BCYS for my next survey and would not hesitate in recommending the company based on my experience”
